The simply changes made to my computer nosotros in the automatic updates Microsoft sends out. I noticed the system had a problem when I tried to tune my guitar using the "Pitch perfect musical instrument tuner" software I had been using and got no response. I tried it using the built in microphone in my laptop. Then I plugged in an external mike. So I tried plugging my guitar pickup directly to the input port.
I went into the command panel and searched for the book control. At showtime it only showed the book command for the speakers. When I finally found the control for the mike, it showed that the mike was muted. I clicked the "Mute" icon and the Mike came on and went right dorsum off. I wondered if it was a feedback problem; so, I tried to reduce the volume on the speakers. I found that the controls were tied together. If you reduce the volume on the speakers, the mike volume goes down as well (even if the mike is muted). I and so disabled the speakers by connecting external speakers and turning them downwardly separately. Past searching in the control panel, I got it to brandish the book mixer panel. With that I was able to see that in the few seconds the mike was un-muted, The calculator was actually receiving audio input.
When I open the recording device command panel, I encounter that the Mike is registering sound; simply it is non beingness communicated to whatsoever of my software.
As I continue to open the "volume Mixer" command panel, more icons are being displayed. At present the mike is no longer showing muted, information technology is the "Microsoft(c) Register Server".
Now the mike doesn't even work for a few seconds.
